White After Labor Day, Eeeeek!!!!!!!!!!!

Over the past several weeks (since labor day), I have been noticing it popping up here and there, trying to sneak its way in, well... it's official the latest fashion trend is...
White Dresses After Labor Day!!!
This makes another trend I that I'm not sure I will support,
well, other than the white sweater dress I bought last year that is completely AMAZING!!!
Here are some sexy women being fashionably rebellious in white...

Jennifer Lopez 18 November 2010

Halle Berry 19 November 2010

Paloma Jimenez 10 November 2010
Paloma's long black coat and over the knee boots being my favorite way to wear the trend. She's pretty in white but still giving off the I-can-kick-your-butt vibe. Love it!

Nicole Kidman 10 November 2010
Ms. Kidman taking this season's Black Lace Trend and turning blending it with the White After Labor Day trend. Always fashionable to blend two trends.

Tips for Dressing for the Holidays

Odette Yustman with a Holiday-mazing UpDo

1) Choose a fabric that doesn't easily wrinkle. Holidays are filled with people snapping pictures, and you don't won't to be stuck forever remembered in a wrinkle covered frock.

2) Darker colors. If you are a little clumsy, like me, the holiday's can not be complete without you spilling something on yourself. Try wearing a darker color so that spills will not be as noticeable.

3) Solid colors. Solid colors photograph well.

4) A sleek wool coat always looks great and also keeps you warm. Many of you will be wearing "not-so-warm" dresses for the holiday festivities. Wear a longer wool coat to keep from freezing on your way to the party.

5) Updos. Frazzled in the way hair is never good. If you have long hair, try wearing it up. This will help keep your hair out of the way throughout the celebrations, and it will also keep it from getting frazzled during all the hugs from long seen relatives and friends.

For tender grass, so fresh, so sweet;
For song of bird, and hum of bee;

Ava, my 4-yr-old goddaughter, "It's a mouse. It's my friend."
Me, "So when your teacher tells you to stop talking in class, what are you going to say?"
Ava, "It wasn't me; it was the mouse in my pocket!"
Ha Ha Haaa, yes, my 4-year-old goddaughter came up with that herself! Ha Ha She cracks me up!

The Beautiful Emma Watson

As I'm sure, many of you know, the new Harry Potter movie releases wide in the USA this week.
So I thought it only proper to write a post about the beautiful, stylish, sparkling Emma Watson!!
Here are some of her recent and my favorite looks...

Emma 11 November 2010
When I saw this dress today I almost died, the gorgeousness of the dress nearly killed me! lol I absolutely love it!! Emma looks hot HOT in it!

Emma August 2010
This look is cute, fun, and casual. Makes me smile! :-)

Emma November 2010
The A-symmetrical draping on this dress rocks!

Emma September 2009
Though Miss Watson received a huge amount of flak due to this dress malfunctioning in the London wind and rain, this look is still my ultimate fave!! The color, the cut, the neckline, the fabric...everything works, hurricane winds and flashing fans your underwear or not!! Not to mention, Emma remained classy throughout the entire debacle. Emma, if this dress disappears from your closet, I promise it wasn't me...maybe...

Trend Alert- Ultra Girly, Flitting Faeries

Ultra girly, faeries ruling the red carpet! The celebrities must be getting back to their childhood imaginations in these fairytale reminiscent garments. I'm not sure what to think of this trend yet. Layered sheers, ruffles, and lace covered frocks usually give me the chills, but somehow in darker hues I'm really loving it! Especially Christina Ricci's billowing breeze of a dress.
